Logistics Coordinator / Customer Service Representative

Compensation

$22-25/hr depending on experience

Pertinent Information: Full-time, steady day position. Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Temp to perm.

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator / Customer Service Representative works in a fast paced, detail oriented environment and is responsible for the accurate interpretation of Customer requirements.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Receiving customer requirements via EDI / Customer Portals or emails
  • Analyzing customer requirements and scheduling accordingly
  • Accurately entering customer requirements into the MRP system
  • Preparation of customer paperwork
  • Arranging freight for delivery to customer
  • Answering incoming phone lines and transferring the caller to the appropriate department / person
  • Working closely with the Sales team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration
  • Must have previous CSR / Logistics experience within a Manufacturing setting
  • Previous experience working in a MRP system
  • Strong computer skills
