Production Analyst / Data Analyst


Pertinent Information: MUST BE AN EXCEL WIZARD! Position relies heavily on Excel and candidates will be tested to ensure they meet the required skill level. Excellent opportunity with a stable company that offers a great package along with growth potential in the future.

Wage: $50,000 – $65,000/year depending on experience. A more junior candidate can expect to see around $50,000 – $55,000/year. Compensation package also includes a fairly lucrative incentive / profit sharing, which will be discussed during the interview process. Location: Harrow, ON. This is a 100% in-person position.

Job Description

Working directly with the production team and reporting directly to the Director of Planning, the Production Analyst/Data Analyst is responsible for compiling large sets of data into functional and workable forms so that all parties involved have a solid understanding.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Analyzing and managing internal data transfer process
  • Maintaining, tracking and controling internal stock targets including recommendations for improvement
  • Monitoring production schedules which are approaching planned capacity and reporting to team opportunities to take more business while keeping current production on-time
  • Assisting with down-stream operations along with identifying improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure best practices and continuous improvement initiatives are followed
  • Providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis
  • Assisting with other projects and other analysis as needed


  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Data Analysis or equivalent
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting – understanding of the manufacturing/production process is essential
  • Strong Excel skills – must be proficient and able to meet certain targets during testing process
  • SAP experience a definite asset
  • Sound decision making ability, computational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
