Job Description
Our customer is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting & Administrative Assistant to support daily accounting operations and provide general administrative assistance. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, highly organized, and comfortable handling both financial tasks and office coordination.
Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:
Accounting Support
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Prepare and issue invoices; track payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Support payroll preparation and expense reporting
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Maintain organized financial files and documentation
Administrative Support
- Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to general inquiries
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and basic presentations
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
- Support management and staff with general administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years accounting/bookkeeping and administrative experience
- Experience with Sage 50 is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
