Medical Radiation Technologist

Pertinent Information: Hiring Employer is undergoing extensive growth over the last several years, and they are in search of qualified Medical Radiation Technologists. Offering more predictable schedules, less weekend requirements, work / life balance and much more.

Part Time roles available (to be discussed in the interview process) – minimum of two (2) shift with a maximum four (4) shifts. .

Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m (37.5 hours/week)

Location: Windsor Essex County & Chatham-Kent – Multiple Sites

Compensation: $37.95/hour (pay grid goes up to $46.85/hour) + HOOP pension + benefits + 3 weeks vacation and 8 paid vacation days (60 hours)

Signing Bonus: $30,000 signing bonus (paid out over five (5) years at $6000/year on anniversary date)

Job Description:

Hiring Employer will provide high quality imaging services and select procedures to patients of all ages acrossWindsor-Essex and Chatham. Seeking professionals who believe in the mission, vision and values of while providing a warm and compassionate patient experience. Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Consistently provide compassionate people-centered care, maintaining a calm, professional attitude with patients
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns appropriately and according to the company policies and procedures
  • Ensure patient comfort during examinations, respecting individual concerns and cultural differences
  • Involve the patient in their examination by hearing their concerns and by providing a detailed, patient-friendly explanation of every stage of their examination, refraining from providing a diagnosis
  • Record/document images that support an accurate assessment of normal and abnormal findings
  • Perform all patient examinations in accordance with protocols, policies and procedure with attention to required views
  • Collaborate with other MRTs, Sonographers, Radiologists and health care providers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of service

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires registration as an active member in good standing with the CMRITO
  • Liability Insurance required
  • Current CPR required
  • Reliable transportation – availability at all locations required
  • Courteous and professional with patients, staff, referring physicians and members of the community
  • Honest, respectful and trustworthy
