Warehouse Associate

Pertinent Information: Direct hire position. Steady days, Monday through Friday 6:00 am – 3:30 pm. During training the shift will be 7:00 am – 4:30 pm.

All candidates must have forklift experience as well as be able to lift 25 lbs repetitively. Full details to be provided at time of interview.

Wage: $22/hr. Comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in supporting daily operations within a high-volume production/manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory movement, forklift operation, and maintaining an organized warehouse to ensure uninterrupted production flow.

The Warehouse Associate works closely with the Logistics Coordinator and the Order Fulfillment Manager to ensure world-class service is maintained.

Responsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Prepare, package, label, and stage outgoing shipments in accordance with customer and carrier requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments using ERP or warehouse management systems.

Material Handling & Warehouse Operations

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies throughout the facility.
  • Move finished goods from production areas to designated storage or shipping locations.
  • Picking orders by retrieving specific items from storage positions based on the item, lot and location numbers printed on the pick slips
  • Prepare items for shipment – verify accuracy, confirm labeling, etc & stage product
  • Perform loading and unloading of trucks while ensuring product integrity and safe handling practices.
  • Organize warehouse inventory and maintain designated storage locations for efficient retrieval and stock control.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify supervision of shortages or discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification/license and demonstrated experience operating forklifts safely.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes, inventory control, and warehouse documentation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse management systems is considered an asset.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs
