Wage: $80,000 – $110,000/year + bonus + comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description:
- Analyze PM criteria work to reduce breakdown/failures using MTBF and MTTR metrics.
- Create and complete detailed and clear understandable Maintenance Plans/Tasks for trades based on OEM requirements and performance history of equipment.
- Analyze the amount of time needed to complete the defined PM and adjust as required.
- Analyze the findings from PM inspections and ensure sufficient plans are in place to prevent operational breakdowns/failures.
- Adjust frequency, content or other of PM plans to reduce operational breakdowns/failures.
- Schedule and assign work in discussions with operations and maintenance staff.
- Review and log all work orders into SAP and track trends.
- Coordinate, assure and confirm that necessary resources, safety, tools and equipment, parts, technical skill of maintenance staff, time, transportation of equipment, and vendors are available before scheduling specific work.
- Set priorities for work orders based on awareness and knowledge of the safety hazards, quality, available resources and skill sets, the equipment’s ability to produce as necessary, costs in conjunction with management and availability of vendors if required
- Review/analyze breakdown work to determine if repair was temporary or permanent.
- Converse with tradesmen to gain an understanding of the severity of the failure, nature of the repairs, root cause, etc.
- Analyze work order and repairs and adjust PM accordingly to eliminate or reduce future breakdowns/failures.
- Ensure appropriate level of detail exists in the breakdown work order to provide clarity of actions for historical reference.
- Manage monthly fiscal breakdown work orders, and closure of completed, generate a cost by equipment report.
- Create, schedule and complete detailed, clear and understandable work orders after discussions with requestor/s.
- Coordinate facility repairs as required with internal and external suppliers.
- Scheduling and Planning Plant Shut Downs (2 Annually) – Major Projects – Requiring Long Term Planning.
- Create a Shut Down plan.
- Understand the scope and complexities of the projects.
- Provide cost estimates for defined work to facilitate adherence to budget.
- Define people, parts and other resources needed to accomplish the work.
- Create, prioritize and schedule and complete detailed, clear and understandable work orders.
- Set priorities for work orders based on awareness and knowledge of the safety hazards, quality, available resources and skill sets, equipment’s ability to produce as necessary, costs in conjunction with management and availability of vendors if required.
- Schedule, coordinate, assure and confirm that necessary resources, safety, tools and equipment, parts, technical skill of maintenance staff, time, transportation of equipment, and vendors are available.
- Create, lead and manage an appropriate amount of team meetings to enable effective planning and scheduling
- Manage SAP notifications and work orders daily to prevent an excessive backlog
- Ensure redundant notifications and work orders are cancelled from the system
- Close all work orders appropriately and in a timely manner
- Create Purchase Requisitions for non-stocked materials and services
- Continuous improvement and root cause analysis based on failed components or process.
- Track internal/external repairs to ensure timely and effective repairs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Broad knowledge & experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) – SAP PM preferred
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade License – Mechanical bias preferred
- Extensive knowledge of steel tube manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Practitioner) or MMP (Maintenance Management Professional) designation. If one not already in place, must commit to completing one or the other within a 2-1/2 year time frame.
- Must have strong computer skills – MS 360, SAP, etc.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems.
- Must have excellent planning and strong leadership abilities.
- Must hold a valid Drivers License.
